Silicon Mitus is the first and largest PMIC (Power Management IC) supplier in Korea. Dr. Youm Huh, one of the principal pioneers of Korea’s system IC industry, founded the company in 2007 with the backing of Walden International, the VC firm renowned in the semiconductor space.
In 2008 we successfully developed the first domestically produced PMIC for LCD display. In 2013 – also a first for a Korean fabless – we developed and commercialized PMIC for smartphones and OLED panels.
Our annual revenue surpassed $100 million in 2012 and we have achieved $300 million in 2021. We have won the “Best Revenue Growth Award in 2011” awarded by the GSA (Global Semiconductor Association), “Best Technology Company Award of 2016” and the “$200M Export Tower Award of 2016”, both bestowed by the Korean government.
Our success story is due to our engineers’ unrivalled expertise in PMIC, a strong management team with experience in global IC companies, strategic partnerships with key foundries, and the solid trust of our blue chip customers. As a result, we have built the most comprehensive analog/power IP portfolio in Asia and are constantly developing innovative solutions for world-leading manufacturers of smartphones, PCs, TVs, and notebooks.
We plan to expand into automotive and IoT sectors. With our 200+ top-notch PMIC specialists, we will continue to our relentless quest to be a global leader in analog/power.
